The app enables you to operate your TCL TV via your smartphone.
Please be aware that this remote control app is not the official TCL TV app, but it gives you the ability to control it.

The app has a wide variety of remote models, so you can find the one that suits your device.

The app was created so you could use your TCL TV device even if you couldn't find your remote. However, please note that the app requires your phone to have an infrared sensor.

Functions, if you're fast enough to avoid tapping the constant ads that popup over your screen as your trying to use the remote. Seriously, every button push is giving me a new ad. Just took me five minutes to get from turning on the TV to getting Hulu selected. Now in another 30 minutes (12 buttons to press, so 13 ads to watch) maybe I'll get to my show.

I would give more but the ads are long and unfortunately when you tap skip video it doesn't. I was trying to turn up the volume and completely missed what I wanted to hear because of this. The other issue is that if you have smart TV tou will need to pIr and connect each time you close the app Other than that it works perfectly.

Works but barely because ads are so intrusive. I could typically watch a longer ad to get rid of other ads for an hour, which was fine. As of today, though, it keeps telling me it can't connect to my tv (even though it has like 200 times before). I just want a decent app for when my kids lose the remote, is that too much to ask for?
