CI Smart Sensor, Humidity Management System
Keep a watchful eye on your cigars without lifting the lid of your humidor or container. The CI Smart Sensor will continuously gauge humidity and temperature levels inside your humidor and container providing access to those vital readings. You will receive push notifications if readings are outside your customized humidity ranges or if someone dips into your container. Analyze your hourly, daily and monthly readings, then use that info to adjust for seasonal changes or newly introduced valuables. Once you’ve linked your CI Smart Sensor to your iOS device, you can rest easy knowing that your sensor will monitor your valuables using Bluetooth Low Energy technology. App stopped working some time ago. I tried reinstalling it, and in order for me to access the app, it needs permission to access pics and vids. This is an app to monitor a hygrometer, and access to my personal content shouldn't be needed. However, if you deny the permissions, the app won't open. I recommend going with an analog hygrometer and not use this app.

Hi Chris, I'm sorry to hear you're seeing an issue denying app permissions. Certain Android phones do require storage permission be allowed which can include photos and videos. After all this time from reception, it has only gotten worse. I hear that the apple version does a good job. but the android app sure doesnt. Constand connection issues and the graph/chart never seems to load and is in a constant state of loading that just freezes the app and makes it useless. This idea was great and I hope that you will eventually live up to the potential, but in it's current state it's pretty much useless.

We have released a new Android app that includes significant improvements to Android Bluetooth connectivity in addition to many other improvements and bug fixes. You should now experience reliable Bluetooth connectivity between the sensor and app while in Bluetooth range and re-connectivity when re-entering Bluetooth range.

I have 2 sensors. One reads all over the place even after calibrating multiple times. The other rarely connects to the app. The app is super buggy and usually takes multiple attempts to "calibrate," which still doesnt read 75% in the supplied calibration bag. Contacted boveda. Even responding to their emails comes back with an error. Overall, if you care about your cigars, this app and the smart sensor/butler will probably leave you with more questions then answers.
