Location Services Access needed or it won't work. This is the secret, folks. Just choosing the region off the box and using that server isn't enough. It won't EVER find it. You need to go into your advanced App permissions from the Android settings. Pick this App, then find Location under there and move the little slider to grant this App that. Then what you may have tried 1000 times and failed will suddenly magically work.

We obtain the location positioning permission to obtain WIFI information, because the device connection needs WiFi data, I am sorry if it troubles you, but currently Android and IOS systems are set like this, we can only follow the system rules

There isn't 0 I didn't have a device that uses 2.4 GHz The app won't even try to find the bulbs because it doesn't have a 2.4 GHz wifi connection on either of my android devices. This after I have to setup an account including my phone #. It just says can't work. There is 2.4 GHz in the house just not on my devices. I guess I could dig up some old device that does, but that's not really going to be workable. My router is dual band, but my phone and tablet connect on 5 GHz, I don't get a choic.

The applications overall usability isn't great. First it took me multiple attempts to even connect the bulbs to the WIFI and the application. Once I finally got them connected, I had issues were 2 of bulbs would go on while the other 2 would turn on after a while. This is still an ongoing issue which effects all the bulbs connected. The next issue I encountered was with setting up a group. It's easy enough to do this through the app (with the limited functionality it offers), however, the group is only viewable from google home/assistant as the controls don't work. The purchased bulbs are on the cheaper end and although I wouldn't expect any higher end features to be included, I would like to see the basic functionalities of both the app and the bulbs to be working as expected.
