long loading times for almost every action and the ingredient picking UI is unnecessarily complicated. I have to scroll sideways and up/down to see what's selected. it's like only 1/3 of the screen is usable at a time. bottom part of the menu runs off the screen so I can't see calorie counts of anything on the bottom row. it looks like they're just wrapping doordash - just order through the door dash app instead. it's way easier.

Updating review after a long time of not using it and lowering the rating to 1 star from 2. The ordering process is not intuitive and uses images and text that are too small and wastes a lot of unused space. I regret using the app even though I look forward to the food. How is the app this bad a few years later? On the plus side, I was able to place an order after figuring out how to navigate the ordering process. But I don't want to repeat the experience. Throw out the UI design and start over.

Overall, the app works fairly well when building your order. However, there have been multiple times where when I went to pay, an error message is displayed. Each time there is an error message, it actually charged my card. I've been charged 3 times in one instance and 4 times in another instance. Now I need to contact CAVA for reimbursement. Very frustrating.
