To access all features and content you can subscribe to The Criterion Channel on a monthly or yearly basis with an auto-renewing subscription right inside the app.* Pricing can vary by region and will be confirmed before purchase in the app. In app subscriptions will automatically renew at the end of their cycle.

* All payments will be paid through your Google Account and may be managed under Account Settings after the initial payment. Subscription payments will automatically renew unless deactivated at least 24-hours before the end of the current cycle. Ratings and reviews

It's a beautiful app.. and I really don't think I could say that about, well, any app but this one. The style and UI motion match the logo: smooth, clean, and reflective of the art. The option to go without the -10 seconds/+10 seconds skip arrows is INCREDIBLY annoying, so I dock points there. I mean just for conveniences sake.. The decision not to add them for whatever reason is just stubborn and a grave annoyance.

The best streaming service for anyone who loves film (as opposed to movies). The app itself is a bit clunky, but it's gotten better with time and is worth putting up with some odd UX choices to get access to these movies. The catalogue changes monthly with themed collections that urge you to trust the currators and try something new. There's no algorithm and a crummy search menu, but if you're willing to just go with the flow and trust the recommendations you won't regret it.

Edit - this issue is now fixed. Thank you! The 24/7 UI is popping up every few seconds even when not interacting with the screen in any way. I'd like to use the feature more but this makes it impossible to enjoy. Please fix. Android Pixel 6 Pro
