Hi, I started this project after leaving Reddit and being dissatisfied with the current Lemmy apps. I wanted a browsing experience similar to what I was used to and I hope others who are in a similar situation will enjoy Connect for Lemmy.

I'm liking it so far! It definitely needs some development. One minor thing that i've noticed is that the download button for images and media puts them in my downloads folder, and then the only way to find them to share on other platforms is to go to my file explorer. I've just been screenshotting things instead. Also there are a few typos in the settings, "effect" should be used instead of "affect" when using it as a noun

Good app, a few minor annoyances. I don't like that when I open a link to a web page, click another link from there, then press back, it goes all the way back to the original Lemmy post instead of the previous page I was on. And can the post vote and comment buttons be moved to the bottom of the post right before the comments? I want to use those after reading the post, not when I first open it.

Overall I like this client. It's stable, fast, and I like the layout. The only reason I'm not giving it 5 stars is because there's this super annoying issue I have over mobile. When you zoom in on pictures (as one has to do to read most things on mobile), it will snap back when you move around. In other words, you zoom into a comic and try to move the picture down so you can read the first line and it automatically snaps you back out and into browsing. Super annoying. UPDATE: dev is correct!
