Fantastic App. I hope latest version has fixed the problem of reliable notifications when lightening is approaching, which historically has been intermittent. Latest version 3.3.3 has new minor problem where upper left display of distance to nearest lightening now reverts to km, not imperial miles,, regardless of setting. But overall this is a wonderful app to notify you of nearby lightening storms. Highly recommended, with a few minor bugs.

This is a great app for anyone needing to check proximity of lighting. Be it out on the water fishing or jobsites that have a lighting stand down radius. The only upgrade or add on I would like is a 50 miles radius added outside the 31. A few major companies have gone recently from a 30 to a 50 mile stand radius. And motion radar, being able to see the strom track movement.

excellent app if you're wondering where the lightning is coming from and how far away it is. also fun to watch where lightning is across the country. seems fairly accurate. Update. 7/12/24 It shows my location as Letcher (hist...). I'm not a letcher, at least I don't think so, but have not found a way to change it.
