About this app

The SchoolTool mobile application allows parents and students to quickly and easily view information about students’ assignments, grades, schedules, and attendance. You can also receive real-time notifications.

This app runs on Android 12.0 and higher, and is exclusively for districts using SchoolTool. Contact your school district for connection information.

SchoolTool is the premier student management system in New York State. K-12 school districts across the state use SchoolTool to track student information such as grades, attendance, discipline, test results, and much more.

It was fantastic but now it won't work on my Android. The last few updates were not successful. The screen flickers after log in and it crashes. May '25 update: I updated again. there was a pop up message screen displayed upon login. I was able to use the app well after dismissing the pop up. The next day, I logged in and it was back to flickering and unable to load.

Worked great until mid October but after an update it stopped working. When you open the app it closes abruptly on my Android device. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling but no luck. I did email tech support they were looking into it but no update given on when it might be fixed. The website works but it's not as easy to use as the app. Please fix it so I can keep an eye on my daughter's grades and assignments. Thanks

Update: They were quick to reply and fix my issue, thank you! ----------------------------------------------------- After the update the app no longer works at all, keeps telling me there is an internal server error, tried uninstalling and reinstalling. Really miss this app wish you didn't update it.
