They've introduced surge pricing on the credits you pay for a movie depending on how busy it is which I'm not necessarily against but I am firmly against how they implemented it. Your movie costs X credits and then you go to purchase the ticket and your card gets declined. The app now informs you that the price has changed AFTER you purchased the ticket and it's now X+2 credits. And now you're holding up the ticket line while you mess with the app and the declined sale. Needs fixing.

Garbage app and service. Doesn't list all show times, so you have to fake going to different movie. Card randomly doesn't work for online purchases. Randomly requires you to be near the theatre to choose a movie for check-in. Lists movie theaters then says " You are unable to check-in to this theatre" when you arrive. I'm at less than a 25% success. Save your money. No point paying for a subscription to a service that rarely works especially when you have to pay again when you get there.

I was a member during the first iteration of MoviePass and I've been a member since it relaunched. The service and the app both continue to improve. I like that online ticket purchases are possible now. Also, I'm glad to see they re-added the movie history feature so you have a record of what movies you've used MoviePass to see. At $10 a month, it's a great value, even if I only see one movie a month. With ticket prices higher than ever, I'm really glad this service is back!
