Mutual is the largest and fastest growing dating app for members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (LDS/Mormon)!

Mutual is a place where single members of the Church can make meaningful connections that lead to real dating. The app was created by BYU grads who know how difficult it can be to meet others with similar interests, beliefs and standards, especially outside of Provo. Mutual offers features that help you get to know other singles beyond their profile photos, by highlighting information such as mission location and interests you share in common with potential matches.

The Mutual team is committed to upholding the standards of our faith, and making Mutual a genuine and safe place you can trust. All profiles get reviewed before entering our community. Users are encouraged to verify their profiles before meeting in person to ensure they are who they claim to be. We also make it easy to report inappropriate behavior in the app, to maintain a positive environment for everyone.

Ratings and reviews

Pretty good application, once both of you swipe up, you can chat, and video call (if you both have Mutualplus) however, the video capabilities are subpar at best. I called a girl, and we kept glitching out on each other/one of us could see half of the picture and the other would not see the person at all. We used Facebook Messenger instead, worked spectacularly better. Overall a great app for Latter-Day Saints.

App algorithm doesn't work. I've had it for almost 4 years and I've never been on a date from Mutual. I rarely get matches, (less then 1-2 a year) and they never go anywhere. I paid for premium in Rexburg, Idaho where you would think a lot of girls would be on it and still nothing. Gives you 10 swipes before it suggests changing variables. I've changed my profile multiple times, and have had it reviewed by others who said it was a good profile. App is probably not even worth a download honestly.

Paid for premium as an experiment and was disappointed. App was incredibly buggy and constantly logged me out of my account. Features are extremely limited (even premium ones), despite the steep price. Other apps like hinge are waaaay better, even the free version is better than what mutualup has to offer unfortunately. Also, the algorithm is abysmal
