About this app

HOBOconnect is designed to communicate wirelessly via Bluetooth Low Energy to the HOBO® MX data loggers. You can configure and start the data logger, download the recorded data, store and analyze the data. The data can be viewed in both graphical and list formats and also exported and shared to other programs including Excel and HOBOware®.

It's been a decent app until recently. Now when I open the app, it freezes on the welcome pop up. I open the app, a menu pops up and says welcome and if I'd like to open the quick start, or don't show again, or ok. Any option I click, nothing happens. And I can click other options but it remains frozen. Closing the app and reopening hasn't fixed it.

I would say about 60% of the time after downloading a hobo tidbit file, when I try to view the data it gives me an "error occurred while parsing the Hobofile. File may be corrupt." message. If I switch to the Hobomobile app, then I can download and view the data no problem. Unfortunately, the Hobomobile app sometimes has issues connecting to the tidbits otherwise I would be solely using that app. So instead I have to use two different apps and hope one works.

Most recent update seems to have rendered the app completely unusable on all devices. We all have to share one phone now that will live on airplane mode for the foreseeable future.
