About this app

An app that allows you to create your own patchwork blocks and design quilts. Simply draw your idea and the app does the rest. It will do all the necessary calculations, add seam allowance, help you create a template, advise you how to cut and more. It will show how the block will look if you use your own fabrics.

You can save the blocks and quilts and fabrics in your catalogue.

Ratings and reviews

This has such potential but is, unfortunately, not very user friendly. Way too many patterns to have to manually sift through. Would like a search option, for example, "hexagon" and all hexagon pattern options show up. That's just for starters. Lots of improvements to be made, but I think if they are done, this could be a great tool.

Has good possibility, the pattern library is decent and seems like a great tool for laying out your basic idea. However the pattern maker needs work. I'm combining storm at sea with snails trail and couldn't draw more than the first square, as soon as I draw the second it disappears. If that's a purchase limitation why have the pattern editor an option at all? Or perhaps a pop-up notification that further drawing will require a purchase? I will be interested to see where this app goes.

Overall I really like the app. It took a minute to figure out how to do some things, but once I did it was a piece of cake. I have the upgrade version and the save quilt button doesn't actually work, so I'm disappointed about that. I would like to have that fixed and would like the ability on the quilt design screen to change the colors on just 1 block instead of all blocks of the same design. Otherwise amazing app!
