About this app

The Capella Mobile app serves students enrolled at Capella University, and requires a university login. It makes it easier for busy, working professionals to keep up with their program, the latest happenings in their courses, and to do some light work while on the go. Capella Mobile integrates campus, program and course activities within a convenient, single app.

* Unread count and direct link to your Capella email account (if issued)
* Review your Academic Plan and register for your next course
* Notifications for top happenings in your course
Course Messages link, with unread count indicator

* View instructions for studies and assignments (subject to availability across courses or units)
* Check the status of recent assignments (due / submitted / graded) and grade (score)
* Post to course discussions; read and reply to classmates' or faculty postings
* Read status for course discussion posts is synchronized with the Courseroom
* Reach mobile-friendly Capella Library databases to start literature searches
* View your instructor or classmates’ Campus profiles (subject to their privacy settings)

Ratings and reviews

I have had problems with the Capella mobile app since the first time I tried to use it. I have been getting a notification that the app has "bugs" and that I should log back into it after the developer fixes them. Sadly, students, including myself, have paid an insane amount of money and invested countless hours continuing our education. The mobile app doesn't measure up! It simply doesn't deliver. Fix the "BUGS" please, I'd appreciate being able to log in and complete my assignments! Ty

[Edit] I can't download forms I need. Beyond replying to classmates & checking notifs, this app is just a reader.] The mobile browser version holds up better than this app. It has enough lag via loading time to make me feel impatient, while the mobile browser performs in a more optimized manner. Both desktop & mobile browsers don't load student's profile pictures, even on Firefox with no adblock. This app is fine for basic viewing, but I predict I'll be using the mobile browser more often.

I have not seen an app this bad since I worked for the phone companies when smartphones came out and you tried to load the browser. I try to scroll the discussion board to see reply and comments from others and it freezes the whole app every.. single.. time. At this point the only thing I can use it for is to see my grade. Anything that requires it to load, is a no-go and will freeze. I am very sad by this because this is my first class with Capella and it should be much better than this.
