About this game

The Devourer is always hungry and it’s your job to feed it in this idle merge game mashup. Play as the NecroMerger and use dark magic to summon an army of creatures (skeletons, zombies, demons, banshees… the list goes on). Merge them from piddly little grunts into massive (and tasty) brutes, before feeding them to your ever hungry pet.

As you grow your Devourer you’ll attract the attention of merchants, champions and even rivals. Some can be useful, others must be fought… or fed to your insatiable pet. The bigger the Devourer grows the more your lair will expand and you’ll unlock powerful abilities and spells.

Complete feats to unlock new stations and equipment… graves, altars, fridges and even a bathtub to hold excess slime. New stations will let you summon new, stronger (and even more tasty) creatures. Manage your lair and minions to maximize your resource generation.

Ratings and reviews

Fun game, but like any idle game you get to a standstill every now and then. The variety of minions is cool and the interactions when you pick them up/move them are funny. You can farm for coins and gems so you don't really need to pay for anything. There are packs that can be quite helpful, though. Overall, it's a cool game and I would recommend it.

Very fun game, love the different monsters and the dialogue. While you have to wait for you resources to regenerate, that's not the worst part in my opinion. Upon playing, I missed one mission by spending my runes on something else, and it took a whole day of grinding to get back to the correct pace. now, i have missed another mission and have to grind even harder to be able to unlock werewolves, which just hasn't made the game fun for me knowing i have a whole 3rd resource I can't even use. Boo

the only thing that is "idle" about it is waiting around for the mana and other regenerating resources to, well, regenerate. and that isn't even a feature exclusive to idle games, as many other mobile games deploy that kind of stamina system. it is also heavily geared to making you watch ads to restore said resources as it is very easy to drain them in a few minutes. as a merge game it's fine. the stamina resources that you need to merge units really bring that mechanic down though.

What's new

+ Added the “Eaten” theme. This theme is set inside the Devourer. You must have unlocked the Architect to purchase it. It gives Decorations for Blood Runes and Cosmic Runes.
+ Decorations give slightly more runes.
+ Unicorns max lvl any minion they merge with. They now have a 30% chance of coming from a lvl 2 Prism. Prisms charge slightly faster.
+ The Unstable Rift now summons a few surprises.
+ Warning for the Body Snatcher (this must be turned on from the warnings page).
+ Bug fixes.
