It's great that Gumroad allows many creators on their platform that can't find a place in mainstream podcast platforms. That said, this app is horribly designed. Audio files constantly lose their place and require manually finding the point which you were listening. When you finish a podcast and it is marked so, rather than restarting from the beginning when you listen again, it plays from the last second and instantly changed to the next podcast. Poor engineering, needs work to be user friendly

New version seems better. Well the media player part looks better but it doesn't put controls in the notifications for pause/play and when I finally get back to the app and pause it it'll start playing again randomly at the most frustrating times. Every other app seems to have figured this out idk why they can't hire a dev that's worth a salt Also give us sort options by date for the list page I have to scroll thru nearly 200 items to get to latest podcast episode. pls add Android auto support

New update killed the ability to play videos in a pop up window. Because of this you have to have the Gumroad app open at all times as your main screen, basically killing its usefulness. I play videos in the background, while I do other tasks. I Literally, can not do that anymore. Now the Gumroad app is just a broken waste. Sure you can download audio/video content in the app, but you can do that from website. So, I guess we just have a broken app here. Nice. Uninstall RIP In Pepperoni Gumroad
