NEW in version 1.40: ADD CUSTOM PLAYERS
You can now add any Player you want and see if you can make it work with the options provided. And most of them should work out of the box. Please note that some apps (especially the ones not sticking to any system standards) won't work, which is why this feature is considered experimental.

Let me know if you can't make your favorite player work and want me to look into it!

Basic Features (Free Version):
• Beautiful, Material Design themed widget for your favorite player
• Displays ONE player you can choose (either officially supported or a custom player)
• Uses colors determined from the album art
• Download HQ album art for streaming players
• Layout automatically adapts to widget size (Beta)

Additional Features in the Full Version (available as In-App purchase):
• Best usability among all music & media widgets
• Cycle through your players by clicking the app icon
• Automatically switch player if you start playing music
• Automatically switch back to your default player after 5 minutes of inactivity

I am a single developer located in Austria. I programmed this app because I couldn't find any other widget that did what I wanted and also looked nice. Because I liked the widget so much, I decided to put some additional work into it and make it available to everyone via PlayStore. I have no interest in your personal data at all. This results in a pretty simple privacy policy, which is stated below and in the app (About-section).

As with all of my apps: Privacy matters!
This app does not collect data of any kind. No usage statistics, no user tracking, no ad profiles, nothing.

After Spotify decided to remove the widget feature for seemingly no reason, I was on the lookout for a replacement. This app works great so far. It integrated flawlessly with Spotify and I haven't noticed any glaring issues so far. The only thing I wish is that you could get a preview of the different appearance options before selecting them.

It's OK. The free version gives you one player to use. That's fine, not everyone has a bunch of player services installed. The functioning of the widget needs some work, as I found it unresponsive and having to launch the actual player first defeats the purpose of the widget as almost all the major streaming music apps display their controls in the shade or lock screen. It was just a miss for me.

It works perfectly as described but it could use a few more customization features such as hiding album art and choosing a static color for the widget. bought the pro-version. edit: sometimes for some reason even with audio playing you can't control the audio from the widget; instead it will just open the app. it's a bit annoying. only goes away on restart. still 5 stars because I think this bug is outweighed by the cleanliness of the widget.
