To create a city safe from crime, 20 cities (Anyang, Gwangmyeong, Ansan, Gwacheon, Siheung, Gunpo, Uiwang, Yangpyeong, Hanam, Bucheon, Dongducheon, Yongin, Anseong, Pyeongtaek, Uijeongbu, Seongnam, Guri, Hwaseong, Pocheon, Icheon)
We are jointly operating the 『Smartphone Safe Return Service』. In addition, Anyang City is collaborating with the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport and the Ministry of Justice to identify whether there are sex offenders wearing electronic anklets nearby based on location information in the event of an emergency, enabling faster response to crisis situations.

< Description of Safe Return App >
1. If you are on your way home from work or school late at night, there are few people around, or you feel at risk, launch the application in advance.
2. Then, the user's GPS location information is transmitted to the registered guardian and the local government crime prevention CCTV center. In an emergency, this service enables monitoring using nearby crime prevention CCTV and police dispatch by shaking the smartphone or pressing the emergency button.

※ Depending on the regional characteristics of this service (inside a building, underground, around a tall building, etc.), smartphone GPS reception may not be smooth, so the user's location information may not be displayed or there may be differences in accuracy.

※ In addition, in unavoidable situations such as if there is no CCTV nearby or a system failure occurs, difficulties may arise in SOS situational awareness and real-time response, and we are not legally responsible for this. To this end, after downloading the Safe Return app and registering as a member, please be sure to confirm your family's safety by registering a guardian.

※ Users can grant the permissions below to ensure smooth use of the safe return service. Depending on its properties, each permission is divided into mandatory permissions that must be granted and optional permissions that can be optionally granted.
1. Required access rights
1) Location: Access is required to search the current location, directions, and nearby CCTV and police stations.
2) Storage space: Access is required to store app data and resources.
3) Telephone: Access is required to call 112, 119, or the local government crime prevention CCTV center. Additionally, in case of an emergency, local government crime prevention CCTV centers and police officers need to collect the user's phone number to check the user's status.

2. Select access rights
1) Photo Album: Access is required to upload the user's profile photo.
2) Address Book: Access is required to collect guardian contact information in emergency situations.

◉ Personal information collection information
Anyang Safe Return app collects the subscriber's phone number and guardian's contact information when registering to keep citizens safe from crimes and accidents.
In order to quickly identify an emergency situation when a user requests service, the control center contacts the reporter using the collected phone number in the presence of a resident police officer or determines the user's location using a location information system (GPS).
When a user requests service, a text message service is provided to the registered guardian's contact information.
Anyang Safe Return app does not use personal information in any case other than the user's service request.

※ You can use the service even if you do not agree to allow optional access rights.
※ Gyeonggi-do Safe Return collects location data even when the app is closed (in the background) in order to dispatch in case of an emergency based on the user's current location.
