This is very helpful! It reminds me once a week (not too often) about City of Houston pick-up events. Yesterday it confirmed that the claw grabber is coming by to pick up branches and yard waste today. So I moved a big pile of broken branches and freeze damaged tropicals from the pile in the back yard out to the front curb.

I like the reminders, but there's no way to dismiss them. You can only 'schedule' or 'snooze' them. They just keep coming back until the day ends! Also, they say recycle isn't coming when it is and vice versa. I've started putting the recycling out every week because now I'm unsure.

I installed this app to get notifications when the usual schedule is disrupted. The app knows exactly what my schedule is, but I receive notifications for the entire service area daily that say things like "If you are on schedule B, ...". Notably, though the app tells me my schedule, it does not tell me the NAME of my schedule, so I have to guess if they apply to me. Since the app knows my schedule, I should only get notifications relevant to me. If that is not possible in the short term, at the very least I should be able to check the various service categories in the app to know if a given notification applies to me.
