Do you remember back when getting outside was actually simple and fun? It was about playing with friends, exploring, and going on adventures. Somewhere along the way, something went terribly wrong. We got busier. More stressed. And we started scrolling more and counting steps…like it was a job. We lost the joy and wonder of playing outside.
That’s why we’re building the Outbound app. It’s your little outdoor inspiration machine. It features all of the best things to climb on, jump into, trip over, chill by, paddle into, roll on, soak in, and explore with friends. Handcrafted by us to keep you outside until the street lights come on.
Use Outbound to:
• Get inspired to get outside more often
• Discover fun, under-the-radar adventures
• Actually know what’s nearby when you’re at a campsite
• Keep track of your completed adventures on a map
• Impress your out-of-town friends with cool stuff to do
• Save and share your favorite adventures and maps with friends
• Download GPX tracks and offline maps to avoid getting lost (again)
• Embarrass your partner at that remote hot spring
• Impress that same partner with spontaneous sunset outings
• Find kid friendly adventures that aren't just "walking"
• Plan adventure-packed road trips
