Over the years this has been one of my fav apps. It's cute and simple but has a lot of challenges along the way. You can explore space either the way you want to or by following quests. I personally love going on quests I love that there are no parts in the game inaccessible without paying for it and enjoy watching the occasional adds when I want to for coins for me and support for the dev.
