Agastya’s wE-learn is an app for children to begin their journey in independent learning. The app is inspired by the natural potential of children to remain curious, and their ability to build knowledge on their own. It combines the excitement of using touch-screen technology, with easy-to-learn content (prominently in science) to provide a self-learning platform for children. Agastya’s wE-learn app triggers the belief in the child that he/she can learn on their own and thereby builds confidence to further explore and learn unaided.
The learning methods used in Agastya’s wE - learn app ensures that all types of learners benefit from the tool. The topics presented are contextual and relatable to the learners and are available in the learners’ vernacular language to facilitate better understanding.
The concepts and content have been designed and developed by Agastya’s team guided by a network of subject matter experts and a team of graphic and instructional designers. Agastya’s wE - learn app is an effort by Agastya international foundation towards reaching more learners and bridging the digital divide!
