Nato a Pisa nel 1982 , originario di Porto Santo Stefano e tuttora risiedente a Roma dove vive da 15 anni, Gianluca La Fauci ha attraversato percorsi universitari non propriamente artistici, intraprendendo la carriera di ingegnere informatico presso un rinomato colosso del software. Tuttavia, la passione che lo ha da sempre animato per la musica e il suo talento innato per il pianoforte hanno contribuito a forgiare la sua sensibilità artistica.
È solo a 38 anni però che Gianluca decide di avventurarsi nella pittura su tela con l'uso audace e sperimentale dell'acrilico. Le chiusure imposte dalla pandemia hanno giocato un ruolo di colpa e merito in questa scoperta, aprendo la strada a una nuova passione che, in brevissimo tempo, lo sta facendo conoscere al pubblico grazie alla partecipazione a numerose mostre ed eventi artistici su territorio nazionale.
Nelle sue opere Gianluca si propone di catturare l'essenza delle emozioni umane e di trasmetterle attraverso uno stile pittorico che si muove agilmente tra il figurativo e l'astratto. Born in Pisa in 1982, originally from Porto Santo Stefano, and currently residing in Rome for the past 15 years, Gianluca La Fauci has embarked on a non-artistic academic path, pursuing a career as a computer engineer at a renowned software giant. However, his lifelong passion for music and innate talent for the piano have contributed to shaping his artistic sensibility.
It was only at the age of 38 that Gianluca decided to venture into canvas painting, boldly and experimentally employing acrylic as his medium of choice. The closures imposed by the pandemic played a role of both guilt and merit in this discovery, paving the way for a newfound passion that quickly gained recognition through his participation in numerous exhibitions and art events throughout the country.
In his works, Gianluca aims to capture the essence of human emotions and convey them through a painting style that gracefully moves between figurative and abstract realms.
