EdgeVis Client allows connection to an EdgeVis Server for monitoring of Video and alarms.

EdgeVis Client only works in combination with the other components of the EdgeVis system.

New in this version:

- Receive alerts from the new Central Alarm Management feature (only supported on EdgeVis Server 6.5+). Users connecting to an older EdgeVis Server will no longer be able to receive alarm events.
- Support for mobile push notifications from EdgeVis Server for alerts

The EdgeVis Client is able to:

- View multiple video streams on the same screen
- Display incoming alerts from remote assets
- Show location of assets on a map
- Using a tabbed screen to allow multiple activities to be opened at the same time
- Store most used activities for quick retrieval

When connected to an encoder the user can:

- View the video and audio
- Control the remote cameras PTZ
- Use the Virtual PTZ capability
- Switch the input
- Access the remote archive
- Utilise the Full-resolution retrieval feature
