This app, and the people behind it, are excellent. But I'm deleting it, for 2 reasons: the only Pro feature I need is no ads, but that's not an option; its unusual, annoying login process: instead of e-mail/password, it's e-mail/one-time code e-mailed to you. Since I can't always access my e-mail, I can't always use the app. I've asked for a one-time 'ad-free' fee, and plan to ask for alternate methods of receiving your code, e.g., text or phone call. I'll reinstall if these changes are made.

without wrenching the settings at all, it's giving me impressive answers to my questions and their numerous follow-ups. For the occasional 'wow" moment I don't expect, I'll really dig into the follow ups. So far, I'm not bogged down by excess verbosity simply because I stipulated numerous cases or because I was too vague. With subscriptions to ChatGPT and Grok, I'm strongly considering Perplexity again. Impressive, but I'm still wondering what it's really best at.

I usually can't be bothered to write reviews for apps but this is worth my time. Sure, their web ads kind of suck, but the results, accuracy and functionality make this worth the download...And that's really what matters. All results are referenced with links and footnotes to sources. Follow up questions are a breeze and it'll format your results in pretty much any way you like. I haven't tried writing code or anything yet...but what I have tried just works. Brilliant stuff.
