About this app

Load MSX files (BAS, ASCII, ROM, BIN, CAS) on real MSX hardware, as cassette audio.

You will need a real MSX1 or MSX2 computer and a cable to connect your Android to it.

You can choose playback speed between 1200bps, 2400bps, 3000bps and 3600bps.

When playing, don't forget to turn the volume up.

* Support to select files inside MSX Cas files.
* ZIP file support.
* ROM files are 49K max. Not all ROM files will work.
* Not loads piggybacked ROMs (eg.: with SCC)
* Mostly BIN files requires an .BAS loader with some type of POKE to run. Try asking other users on http://www.msx.org forums.
* You can open files from any available storage on your Android: internal storage, USB, Google Drive, Dropbox, etc.

This application works like CasLink, OTLA and others.

Amazingly it works better then expected, so far i mainly played River Raid and Heist but have a blob of files ready to go. I >Hate< advertisement but found the price for removal extremely affordable and didn't notice any advertisement before i payed either. Zip files do list, with larger collections it just takes longer. Upping the baud rate seems to be incompatible with my MSX? (Phillips VG 8020).

Worked like a charm in my two MSX (Sony "HitBit" HB-55 and Toshiba "Pasopia IG" HX-22). Actually, I unearthed an old ZTE Blade 2 that I had with a SIM reader damaged, and old as it is it runs this app, connects with GDrive to fetch my CAS backup files, plays it through the headphone plug like a champ and the game loads perfectly! So, my old Blade is not an unofficial cassette player for my even older MXs. Very happy with this app!

No nonsense software that does what it says on the tin. Only thing missing is support for loading tsx files.
