About this app

"Shopping list" is an application that helps you organize, share with others, and manage your shopping or grocery lists using your phone. Easily add new items you need to buy, set quantity, and pick a category.

When organizing your products, you can add prices, pictures and barcodes to items you need to buy!

In store, just open your list and tick off every item you bought. Depending on your preferences, items are marked as "bought", moved to the end of the list or deleted from list.

Synchronize your Shopping list with another person. Let one person enter shopping items on one phone, and see them appear on another one! Coordinated shopping at its peak!
If the other person has not installed this app, you can send your list via text message or email.

Privacy:
We take your privacy very seriously. Our app never saves your data to our servers unless you use Synchronization feature. If you use Synchronization feature, your data is stored on our servers in anonymous way and is permanently deleted after no longer than two months time. Data stored on our servers is only used to enable Synchronization process and is not and will not be used in other purposes.

Required permissions:
* SD card access is used to allow you to backup your shopping lists, products and preferences.
* Internet access is used for synchronizing with other users.

Ratings and reviews

Old license no longer works. It's a monthly/annual subscription for Pro to remove ads. Ad at the bottom of the list obscures the bottom item. Collaboration generates multiple copies of some items. Re-use of a grocery list seems not to sync to the latest version. Have to copy to a new list. Also, lost previous shared flow on a shared grocery list 1) synchronize to get list 2) check off other person's items to move to bottom of list 3) shop. Need manual sync or assignment and sorting.

Easy to use, does what you need for making lists, ads don't get in the way of using it. I like to make a master list of possible groceries, have a separate list called "groceries today", then when planning what I need, use the search on the master list which will usually show me the item after typing 3 letters, then press and hold on the item then select "copy to another list", copying to "groceries today". Delete all checked items when done shopping.

I really like the app however I've been having a problem the past year where the dropdown menu in the app is often black, so it's very difficult to read it (it is not always black, just most of the time). I've contacted the developer twice about this and gotten no response, hence the 2 star rating. If it were not for this problem, or if I had received a timely response, I would give the app 5 stars.
