The amount of times I go on to check my balance and it tells me that the online services are temporarily unavailable is laughable. Switching banks, this is unprofessional. Once or twice, I could understand. Every other time I try to log on? No. What's even the point of having a mobile app if you can't have it run properly?

The app is pretty basic and fairly easy to navigate. Unfortunately, basic means not many options, leading to limited functions. It would be nice to be able to cancel or request a cancel of a transaction or dispute a withdrawal from the app. Then again, that would result in even less customer service interaction. Overall, it's a decent app.

Hot garbage. If all you want to do, is view the balance of your accounts, yes. It's fantastic. If you have multiple savings accounts, and want to rename them to keep organized, nope. Too complicated for these developers, apparently. Can't activate a replacement card through the app, though it's supposed to be a feature. This institution seems to be a LARGE step backwards for the customers of Blackhawk Bank.
