Students, upload your assignments to Gradescope more easily than ever before! If your instructor uses Gradescope for your assignments, you can now upload your submission with our mobile app.

After installing and opening the app, login to see your Gradescope courses and assignments. To upload a submission, click on the assignment in the “Not Submitted” tab and either “Select File” to select an existing file from your device or “Scan” all pages of your completed work using your Android device’s camera. Once you submit your file(s), for templated assignments, you’re all set. For variable-length assignments, “Assign pages” to indicate where your answer for each question appears within your submission. It’s that easy! After confirming, your assignment then moves to the “Submitted” tab. If needed, you can resubmit your assignment until the due date your instructor set has passed. Once it is graded and grades are published for the assignment, it then moves to the “Graded” tab.

Note: For V1 of the app, you will be directed to our mobile website for any advanced functionality, including viewing feedback and submitting timed, programming, or online assignments. Stay tuned for future updates that will allow you to do even more with our mobile app!

Worked okish on my old phone. It crashed every once in a while. It only lets you upload assignments one at a time, and you need to log in again every time you open the app. It was frustrating but still easier than needing to get my laptop out to turn in paper assignments. Just got a new phone, and now it crashes every single time I try to look at my class. It was a struggle to use it before, but now it's literally impossible to turn in assignments or even look at my class.

The user interface is perfect for people that want to check the status of their assignments on phone, or submit with the camera. Just like the website, it's nice and minimal. It also gets notifications when things are due which is nice. I can only rate it three stars though because it keeps signing me out for some reason. Every time I open the app, it forces me to sign back in. Since I don't use the app on my phone frequently, it's not a huge deal but it's definitely an inconvenience.

Horrendous app design: -Automatic lighting adjustment is unbearable and washes every page out whenever the paper is not in perfect lighting. -Will often fail to submit pages and force you to retake photos(often when assignments are 5+ pages, forcing you to retake all images with annoying lighting adjustment). -Doesn't remember login info and requires new info every time -If you have notifications on, reminders for assignments will just be wrong and will never go away unless you mute the app.
