It might just be me, as I'm very forgetful, but it seems to have a mind of its own at times, making changes in how it works without me changing the settings. Maybe I'm doing it accidentally but I'm not aware of doing it. For example at first it offered the choice when opening a file to use Voice Aloud or to read it normally. Then it changed and didn't give me a choice, started reading automatically. I finally found the choice setting to stop that.

SOUND BREAKS UP MORE THAN ONCE PER SECOND. I have used this app more than five (5) years. 2 months ths ago, it started inserting slient breaks that run between 0.5 and 1.5 seconds, with never than more two seconds between the interruptions. None text is lost, it is just broken into pieces. About one month ago, I got a new phone. The sound breakup is the same as on the older phone. Both phones are Samsung Galaxy A3. Both phones play perfect sound on the most immensely complicated music recorded.

The app does a good job of voice to text. I like the quality of the voice. The menu structure is difficult to navigate, making play lists and moving from chapter to chapter is weak. My big irritation is after any update from OnePlus the application loses the ability to operate in background No other program Kindle or audio reader has any problem. Only this one. You must remove the background permissions and then add them again.
