I was lucky enough to get Rocket Player back when it was made by the original developer, and I bought the unlocker at that time. It's been a great music player! Unfortunately the transfer to the new developer has driven it into the ground. Ads pop up everywhere in the free version, and at least half the time an unclosable ad locks you out of the settings. The ad free unlocker now costs more than the old one and only covers 3 months at a time! I love this player, but I can no longer recommend it.

It's good, better than the stock Samsung music player which barely plays any of my music. 1 complaint, sometimes when I start my phone, the widget doesn't work. I have to go to my apps on my phone and open it once there, then the widget works. UPDATE!!! They did some kind of update and its completely broken now........dont waste your time!

I've been using this app for years, across multiple devices, and I have no complaints about the player itself. But the ads have become too much. As a free app, it makes sense that there will be ads & I've been fine with the banner ads at the top/bottom over the years. However, there are now full-screen ads requiring multiple clicks to close before you can use the actual app, and they seem to be getting worse so I'm afraid I'll be looking elsewhere.
