About this app

Stay updated on your child’s school programmes with Parents Gateway (PG). Receive information, respond to forms, book meetings, declare travels, access parenting resources, and more!

PG is available for mainstream MOE kindergartens, primary schools, secondary schools, junior colleges, Temasek Polytechnic and Ngee Ann Polytechnic.

PG uses Singpass to identify parents of students in these schools. Upon
successful authentication, the connection to Singpass will be terminated. Please remain logged in to receive notifications when schools send new posts. There is no risk of Singpass credentials being stolen if you remain logged in.

[Known Issues]
- Samsung S7 on Android 6 and 7 is known to have compatibility issues. To use Parents Gateway, please upgrade to Android 8

- Enhanced security measures have been put in place for rooted devices. The security measures is known to block apps such as Lucky Patcher and Rom Manager. Uninstalling these apps will enable you to use the Parents Gateway app.

- No or inconsistent notifications received by Oppo and Huawei devices. This is due to battery optimisation configurations set by manufacturer.

I have had no problems with this app for many years, but since last update, I keep having so much difficulty downloading attached files. Files don't download, and I have to close app, restart my phone several times, reinstall app and cross fingers in hopes that it would finally work. Even after it does finally work, the following day, when I try to download another attachment, I will face the same issue.

The new UI may not be appealing at first glance but after giving it a try to navigate through the new look and feel of the PG, I must say that I appreciate and love this new version of PG. The original one was simple but as msg piles up for many kids, I faced difficulties in catching up. This new organised way of bringing the msg to us in PG helps me a lot in keeping up with the mags at a glance without the need to navigate with multiple clicks. Thank you for the good effort and awesome work!

Why I cannot find To-do tab on my PG to submit absence forms? I have read the latest guide but cannot find the tab in the post regarding the absence submission. BTW, if i have read the post, the post would disappear from To-read. My phone is android. Does it matter?
