A note about the FOREGROUND_SERVICE_LOCATION permission: This permission is listed in the app so that if you choose to use GPS while playing on the course, your location will be accurate as soon as you take your phone out of your pocket or bag and you can see the distances to the green and hazards. It is only enabled while you are playing a round and stops as soon as you leave the scorecard. You can also reject this permission if you do not want to use it.

Ratings and reviews

Overall this is a great way to organize your golf league/tournament. The settings situation is daunting at first, but after 2 or so hours all was ready to go. Navigation can be a bit clunky, especially for users and not managers. This is the reason for 4 stars. App outclasses other apps that cost money and would recommend to anyone.

I use the app for running a 4 day tournament between me and the fellas! You get to track everyone's score and with real time leaderboards. I love the live chat, no need to get on a separate chat line. I just wish it had an option for a tournament that could happen live between separate courses at the same time. Other than that it is a great golf app!

100% GREAT We've been using it for two or three years now. It is easy to set up. Easy to understand and use. Easy to fix mistakes in scorekeeping. Flexible formats. If we come up with questions, we email and they are answered almost immediately. I can't believe it is free to use. It probably shouldn't be. I just hope when it becomes a pay-for, that we are grandfathered in!
