The previous incarnation of the app included irritating advertisements, but they were easy to clear to access the stories. This version is clunky and hard to navigate. It is slow to load, and slow to respond to keyboard commands. When you open the app, instead of loading the breaking news, it opens to a landing page with the livestream as the first "box". I tried turning off all notifications except Breaking News, and I am still receiving Trending stories in notifications.

So the app "was" great.. I had no problems with the app, it "was" my number one news source for local and also national news.. Ever since this new recent update the app fails to load most of the time and when it does it will crash. I'm using a Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra so I know it has no problem handling any apps. I understand things happen and I will change my review back to five star when things get fixed.

Massive ads and it never stops. Locks you into a loop at times where you never see news. Try to watch live news and you have better odds at a casino. Try and watch past new you missed live, good luck. The app will show inappropriate ads about hard on pills for males to women looking for inappropriate medicines for better sex. Keep your children away from this app! Its sad that I have to now use New Orleans new apps for better service, but it works great.
