I've been using Windy for the past 8 years, and I only wish I had found it sooner. The premium features are fantastic, especially the 24-hour weather loop, detailed weather maps, and accurate hour-by-hour forecasts. The amount of weather data available is incredible while still being easy to use. Whether you're a weather enthusiast or just want reliable forecasts, Windy is hands down the best weather app I've used. Highly recommended!

As a farmer, a weather app is much needed. For years I was using the Storm app. It gave me alerts when rain was about to start, nearby lightning strikes, and weather alerts. The radar was always on point too. The colors were defined. If there was any color overhead, 99% of the time there was some sort of precipitation occurring. Windy doesn't send notifications, and I can't trust the radar colors. Half the time a system will look bigger on Windy than another app. If changes were made, I'd use.

Although it defaults to wind, you can track the weather-- the precipitation, the snow accumulation, etc - and you can get a ten day forecast that shows temperature fluctuations across the bottom of the screen. There are so many selections to choose from, including different forecast models. I consider the premium app to be worth it, and much more useful/detailed than other weather apps!!
