i downloaded this game a while back and had a lotta fun playing, but ended up deleting it once i reached the part where you decide between paying $7 or watching ads. however i recently redownloaded it and decided to go thru with the payment, and I'm glad i did. i really enjoy roguelike dungeon crawlers, and have been looking for a good new one on mobile for a while, and this scratched that itch. it reminds me of forager, a game i really liked, in the art style and somewhat gameplay

I like the gameplay and characters, if I was just ranking that it would be 4-5 stars. However, after the first section of the game which takes 2-3h, to continue main progress you must: a)pay $8 or b)watch 10 ads. This wouldn't be too bad, but it's 1 or 2 30-50 seconds ads, and if it's 2, it takes you to the app store, so no waiting. I understand that the developers need to make money off of their job, but doesn't playtime also make money? They can't make something in game that takes time?

I might have said this is the kind of pixel retro game I've ever wanted. It has nice graphics, smoothest pixel arts, and is very casual, and addicting to play when you're bored. I can also defeat the boss fights with ease lol btw I don't really wanna argue about the ads yet it's even available to play it offline.
