AMeDAS Widget is a free widget weather app that displays AMeDAS images, radar images, weather satellite images, typhoon information, and more.
In addition to the weather forecast, have you ever wondered where it's raining or what the atmospheric pressure patterns are?
With this app, the widget always displays the latest weather information.
You can also check the weather conditions with images and animations by clicking on the widget.
Radar and AMeDAS images display your current location, letting you see at a glance whether it's raining around you.
If you want to display the image in the widget, press the "Set" button to set the display position and size on a separate screen.
Updating the image can be a concern, so battery consumption can be a concern, but this widget only updates when waking up from sleep mode while the home screen is displayed. (Android pre-5.0)
This means no unnecessary image updates and less battery consumption.

○About Permissions
To avoid unnecessary internet access, this app only updates when the home app or lock screen app is displayed.
For this reason, the "Get Running Applications" permission is required to obtain the names of these apps and whether they are running.
In addition, your location can be displayed on radar and AMeDAS images, and the "Approximate Location (Network Base Station)" permission is required to obtain location information.
○ About the Menu Button
In rare cases, the menu button may not be visible on some devices. If you are using such a device, you can display the menu by holding down the back button.
You can also display the menu button at all times by selecting "Show back button" from the menu.
