Gameplay loop is essentially a fruit machine mechanic, so it's a gamble/reward process which ultimately leads to a small dopamine kick, this is why you get addicted to its simple gameplay and just keep rolling games. eventually hours pass. However after a while it gets pretty repetitive and boring. there isn't really much depth or content here. It's just simple and addictive loops. I got cheap and on sale, so no harm no foul.

I like this game, I really do. but it doesn't beat Game Dev Tycoon. This game feels really imbalanced. It feels like I can spend all my money and a long time making a game, and no matter the combination or amount of points it gets, the games always get mid reviews and sales. Most of the time it feels better to just spam contracts instead because they are free, actually make me profit, are fast and give research to make my people better. Should be renamed from Game Dev Story to Contract Story 🤣

I almost never leave a review for a good game. However, this game is an exception. The combination of creativity and realism in this game at the beginning really hooked me up. Unfortunately, after playing for several hours, the game seems dont have an ending goal. I was expecting a more realistic scenario like you need to survive economy crisis or face a new competitor, etc. There is also a need for emotion bar for each worker and specialty bar that impacts how they develop a game. 4 stars IMO
