I've had this app since 2018 and have used it to read ever since then The recent update requests the app to have access to all files, and read, modify and delete any files on your phone without notifying you. The app is good for reading but not worth it in the slightest for the cost of everything on my phone. I'm unsure why the creators wanted access to all files, and why a single file can't be selected instead, but I've downloaded an alternative app and will be uninstalling this shortly.

Hi, if you've used it for a while, you likely already gave it a storage permission originally. Android then made it so apps can't use that one anymore, and have to use this new one if you want general access. This one might be more broad though. I may consider allowing a scoped directory on new Android, but I think users like ease of auto detect.

The app is requesting access to read, modify and even DELETE all files, even those unrelated to the app from my device and even CONNECTED DEVISES without even notifying me? What do the developers stand to gain from this type of access? This motive doesn't look good to me. I wonder whether using the app is worth putting all my files(including all sensitive information) at such a risk... Aside this, the app is a great one.

Hi, the app uses the permission to find and read your books, and allow you to delete them.

Great ebook reader. The recent update (the first in a LONG time) seems to have fixed a major problem where the page would sort of skip when trying to copy passages of text. EDIT: I originally had a flaw listed here, but the developer responded with the solution, return to be really simple. Turns out I was just dumb.

Hi, to remove a highlight select the X icon at the far left in the color list.
