Ratings and reviews

I've put at least 50 matches on the online ladder. At first glance, the game seems pretty solid. I enjoy the concept of rifleman being the structure in the gameplay of tug of war. The upset is when you are matched against opponents 7x your current level. Which results in 5 minutes of your day wasted in an almost certain defeat. Which means there are needless micro transactions for a paid to win experience, and it doesn't have a large enough player base to support reasonable matchmaking.

The matchmaking is SO bad!! The game is fun but it needs a lot of work. My main frustration with this game comes from matchmaking. More than half my battles are against players that are clearly a higher level than me and it's impossible to win (they will send out one tank the whole match and still win (easily)). Also, a longer match option would be nice. The games where I play against someone of equal level, it'd be good to have the match go for much longer (10 mins would be ideal).

don't bother. I gave the game a second chance, spent a couple weeks grinding for the free veteran cards. they are absolutely not worth it. I hate to see a good game ruined by pay to win game design, that's literally the only thing that makes this unplayable. it is entirely by design, in every aspect of the game there is no way to play without a million micro transactions just to start playing. then you go up against guys who the devs allow to move down in rank to play against whoever they want.
