I enjoy the app. Ive used the website for years and finally just downloaded the app a couple months ago. The only thing I'd like to see change is when I highlight a word I'd like to easily press define for the non-english words the same way I could from the website. However It's only a few seconds to just switch to the web and search it. I still give 5 stars anyway :)

An etymology dictionary in itself is already crucial to understanding the world. Having it online & in an app is even greater. It's not that important 'How do we call that', but rather 'Where does it come from & notice how there are similarities throughout languages, cultures & ages'.

I love this app. I go through and find wording and literature quite fascinating - how we come up with words and what and how words have changed throughout history. if you want a great app that will teach you the history and the meaning of the word + how it originated this app is for you.
