About this app

The goal of this application is to create a simple reminder in as few steps as possible. If you need to do something and you're worried that you may forget, simply set a reminder and the phone/tablet will notify you at the appropriate time. Simplest Reminder is the easiest to use reminder app in the whole Google Play!

IMPORTANT: If you use any Task Manager or Battery Optimizer please add Simplest Reminder Pro to the Ignored/White/Excluded List. Otherwise Simplest Reminder may not work.
On Android 6 and up please disable battery optimization in Settings > Battery > Battery Optimization

Reminder notifications stopped working unexpectedly! Ouch! Android battery saver setting was the cause. But the app does not detect, warn or advise about this critical weakness. (a requirement) Pro: quick to add reminders. Requirement: Alarm pop up offers 'Delete' of old/past reminder, but needs 'Archive' button, where past reminders are put away, and can be browsed and reused. But don't clutter up the list of up coming reminders.

For a simple, straightforward, effective reminder app I would like to say you couldn't really get much better than this. But. Why. Oh. Why. when you open the app does it have to open on a set new reminder page? When I open a reminder app I expect to see a list of my current reminders, not this totally unneeded and unnecessary option (there's the "+" button for this!!). So instead of a solid 4+ it gets a 3, and only for the reasons above I will not be buying the Pro version.

This is the superior reminder app. I've been using this app for several times a day for the past few years. This app actually controls my life. Making a reminder takes 2 seconds, because it only asks for 2 things: the title of your reminder and when you want it to go off. Every other reminder app has so many useless extra things that no one will ever have the time to use. This is one of my most used apps on my phone and has been for YEARS now.
