Fantastic application, fast, efficient, technical yet not overwhelming. Great for navigating local libraries on Android devices. Love that it's open source. Issue is sometimes it doesn't play movies on my Google TV device. could be that it's having a hard time parsing the 1TB+ of content, or the video/audio codecs. The same videos play just fine in VLC. So I use NOVA to navigate the content, and VLC to play. Also the play in other app feature does not work and I have to manually swap to VLC

I was really loving this app, right up until I tried to create a playlist to watch two related shows in the order I chose. Nova changed Trakt playlist order to alphabetical. When you try to play it just takes you to the folder of the episode. If I wanted to play one show in full then the next I'd play them through the TV Show section. Make a playlist that I choose the order and it plays in that order and I might come back. VLC might be not as nice to use but at least it has playlists.

Using this on my Sony Bravia 65inch 4k TV. No better video player on the market. It recognizes and plays every format. Netflix/Prime style interface, meaning it doesn't have a boring style menu that just list the movies/series you have on yr hdd. It rather provides the icon/wallpaper of the different shows you have including a complete synopsis. When subtitles are needed it downloads them in under 2 seconds. Perfect companion to yr storage device that's connected to yr TV!!!
