Ratings and reviews

The idea, the pedagogical structure, is modern, motivating, and well structured. The problem is that the app's technology cannot handle it. Nothing works! Give the technicians and linguists another year to develop the app, and they could potentially build a great learning tool. But in its present stage, Beelinguapp is nothing more than a project, a work in progress. My advice, leave it for now, come back in a year, and you might find an app capable of teaching.

my experience has been horrible. the vocabulary sound does not work. it has never worked. repeated calls to help desk have elicited one unhelpful response. please save yourself some money, and a lot of frustration and use a different language learning app. Many calls to app administrators, but still no change.

This is a fantastic app for natural exposure to a language, with a good selection of recordings of native speakers at different difficulty levels. It is also quite buggy even many years after its release. Parsing of sentances is inexact so bits get cut off if you try to play just one sentence, the app keeps offering me "discounts" despite already being on a premium account. Songs are listed in my target language (Russian) but any attempt to download them fails. Still a unique & worthwhile app.
