Right now this is my favourite language-learning app. Unlike Duolingo, you have control over your learning goals, as you can set the words you want to memorize. Request: On word cards, write the type of word (noun, adjective, verb) and have a button to show the conjugations and/or other forms of the word. Also make some features available offline, as this app is going to be frequently used on planes and trains.

Way too many adds. They pop up ads in the middle of your studying making you lose concentration. There are better apps in the store that does the same thing for free. @edit Ads are fine, duolingo profits with ads but they make it in a way that doesn't impair the learning. Also, limiting the number of cards you can learn per day in the free version is disgusting. Just make the app 100% paid and that will be better. Check the reviews about the free version, it's pure garbage

Somewhere between 4 and 5 stars. It's really really nice having in-depth info on (almost) every word/phrase you add. I also enjoy ease with which you can add cards, including your own custom ones. Only downside is that the available premade decks you can add cards from are a bit limited/strange (at least for French).
