JOIN EVENTS AT YOUR STORE
Quickly and easily join limited and constructed events at participating local stores. With Magic Companion you can easily find your next match and be notified when a new round begins.
How to participate in an event with Magic Companion:
1. Attend an event at participating local stores. Find one at locator.wizards.com
2. Open Magic Companion and select JOIN EVENT
3. Enter the Event Code provided by your local store.
4. Find your first matchup and get playing!

Ratings and reviews

The gatherer website recommended I download this, because apparently it's better? Yeah, that's simply not true. The display is very cluttered, search interface is unintuitive, critical search features such as sort order are completely absent, and for some reason when I search a rules text, it doesn't find all the cards with that text. TL;DR, just use the gatherer.

It's okay. At least you can join events from the app and submit scores but with the latest ligetracker update I will be using this app even less than I already do. It was great before. Large life numbers and a swipe to get to counters and such. Now the numbers are tiny on my phone and it seems to prioritize other gimmick like Commander tax and Commander damage, badly might I add, it doesn't matter what game mode I select. Pauper, modern, and other non-Commander games DONT have commanders!

New app is great and no bugs so far. I think a helpful option would be a Store Locator. Sort by Canada and/or USA option. I live in a border city with 3 stores and like sorting the stores with an hour of me. I think it would be helpful to have an option to turn on your country only so I can only sort Canadian store events and likewise for the USA.

Reality Fracture Prerelease events run September 25 through October 1 at your local game store. Build a 40-card Sealed deck from a Prerelease Pack, then celebrate the set's release on October 2.
