The overall experience is not bad, but some things are: Can't switch to dark mode, that is really burning my eyes every time I open the app. Too many charges everywhere, to apply to a job, to be seen as "available" to withdraw your money, starting up is really hard. There's no way to actively filter the jobs list. And lastly, If you want to reach "Help &Support" you will end up speaking to an AI bot which will never transfer you to a real person, so its near to impossible to reach them this way.

Because the Upwork app didn't notify me, I have lost two prospects for not responding on time. Getting clients to respond to your proposal has been hard and on two separate occasions where they did, Upwork sent no notification. The first time I knew later through my email the second time, nothing. I checked Upwork app just to see I had been sent a message two days ago. This is not fair!!!!!! The app always has one issue with Android I have checked all the notification settings. It is on!

so I downloaded and started looking into jobs. found a few promising ones. bought the membership, paid the credits. now my profile is under manual review and even though I've bought the subscription I'm still unable to bid on jobs. so far a complete waste of time and money. I'll update when/if the situation is corrected.
