Ratings and reviews

I've noticed that the Reverso app often provides translations that are inaccurate and, at times, completely nonsensical. It seems like no one is monitoring or proofreading the translations provided, which leads to frequent ridiculous mistakes. While the app might work for very basic phrases, I strongly advise users to double-check any complex or idiomatic expressions elsewhere to avoid being misled.

Have been a premium subscriber for several years but now I am noticing the same problem as other users, too much reliance on AI. Often the examples are nonsensical and inaccurate both in my native language (English) and in the language I am trying to learn (French). As a native American English speaker I would advise users not to rely on the English translations to learn English. You may end up embarrassing yourself! Flashcards should include the gender of nouns.

The Learning section of this app is unusable (it gets stuck loading and I lost four months of learning progress) and the dev team ghosted me after three emails... if you don't purchase the Premium version, hence no money nor commitment involved, then it's a three stars. I learn Spanish coming from Italian and often times translations are inaccurate, or,when you have multi-word constructs, they only translate the first word. One can live with that, for as long as it's free. Don't pay for it.
