iRefFoos is the ultimate foosball reffing application.
Built by a Pro-Master Foosball player, and certified ITSF (International Table Soccer Federation) / official, Eric Dunn.
iRefFoos allows you to ref all aspects of a foosball or table-soccer game without having to look directly at the stopwatch.
How many times have you looked down to check the clock, only to miss a critical call? Too many times!
It keeps track of timeouts, resets, goals scored, and who has serve. Provides two timer count-down buttons for tracking time of possession on the different rods - 10 seconds for 5 rod, and 15 seconds for 2 and 3 rods . Both visual and vibrate feedback is used to alert the ref as to when time has expired, as well as when the 10 or 15 second count-down timers are re-started.
All buttons are smart buttons:
- If you press the reset button, iRefFoos restarts the right count-down timer, and charges the correct team with a reset.
- If you charge a team with a timeout, a 30 second count down timer starts.
- If you start a new game, a 90 second count down timer starts.
- If a team scores a goal, resets are cleared appropriately, as according to ITSF rules.
If you have to quit iRefFoos for whatever reason, don't worry, iRefFoos remembers all aspects of the current game.
New Rules tab: Search ITSF rules by keyword (like Jar, Reset, Time Out), quickly filters down rules to just those sections that contain the keyword. Rules are grouped for easy navigation, with expandable and collapsible sections.
New UI Configuration section in Settings. Given the various sizes of phones (and people's thumbs), you can now order the UI elements wherever you like on the screen (from top to bottom). Move the 10 and 15 seconds buttons so they are in close range of your thumb to match how you like to hold the phone.
I'm always looking for ways to improve this app - please provide feedback.
