Now there’s a more intelligent way to clean your floors. With the Neato app and a Neato Botvac Connected series robot, you can control home cleaning from anywhere:

• Start, stop, or pause cleaning even when you’re away from home.
• Receive notifications about the status of your robot.
• Set a regular schedule for daily cleaning of an entire level of your home.
• Run the Neato app on multiple devices.
• Use an Android Wear device? See your robot(s), start/stop cleaning, and receive notifications about your robot’s status.
• Access a cleaning summary that shows where your Neato Botvac has cleaned.

Ratings and reviews

simply does not work. The robot itself can't connect properly to WIFI, 2.4 or 5 band doesnt matter. Pairing with the robot access point does not work through the app, but can -sometimes- work manually through the wifi screen. Not that that matters, because once you're paired with the robot you can't finish the setup process either way, because after naming your robot clicking "next" just doesn't do anything at all. Might be one of the worst smart appliance apps I have ever used, impressive.

The App is utterly useless. Once you're signed out you're essentially booted from your account. When you click on 'Reset Password' you get stuck in an endless loop of "click on the link to reset" just to get told to verify your email to get that same link again. Essentially the only work around I've found is using a different email to create a new account and to go through the setup again.

I really, really dislike this product. I've named it Expensive Junk. I'm hoping Best Buy will take it back. I regret allowing a friend to convince me that this is better than another product on the market that I had been using for years. It has been completely unreliable, difficult to keep the connection, and it stalls all the time. I'm hoping to exchange it for the other product I previously used, and only abandoned when I wanted to upgrade to a newer model and I allowed myself to be strayed.
