Better Than Most Modern Sims! For a mobile game that costs far less than a AAA PC release, this game is smoother, the mechanics work properly and you have a lot of control to influence the city. The research tree is a nice touch allowing you to add density/supply/demand without having to rezone, it also allows you to manipulate you RCI mix in a fun way. It's no Cities Skyline, but then it works and you can build out a full city, so there's that. As a returning player from Pocket City 1 A+

I can wholeheartedly say that, even though you need a fairly powerful phone to run this game, if you *can* play it, you *should* play it. I’m just as addicted, if not more so, to Pocket City 2 as I was to the original (Try the original if your phone can't handle this one). I really hope elevation makes an appearance in future updates, imagine tunnelling through hillsides and shaping your city around real topography. I know it will be a programming nightmare, though. Lol.

This updated version is definitely more polished with more colors, buildings, landscapes ect, but at the same time the UI feels like a downgrade from the original. Its similar to playing Farmville vs Farmville 2. Yes, there's more content but it loses its original flare. Still very much playable, but after a while, I chose to go back to the original game.
